How to feel Festive // Blogmas Day 6

Monday, December 11, 2017

OK so tomorrow will be the 12th of December which means we are half way through our Christmas calendars also meaning we only have 12 days until Christmas is finally here, and i know that i am SUPER excited for it, but December and the Christmas season can be stressful, rushing around buying gifts and writing cards but this blog post is how to step back and feel Festive, because before you know it, it will be all over!

1. Watch Christmas Movies

i don't mean sit down and watch them all at once but chilling out in your house with the heating on (because its freezing outside) and watching one of your favourite Christmas movies will totally give you those festive vibes that you are looking for.

2. Play Christmas music

If the radio just isn't cutting it for you then its a great idea to make a playlist on you tube or Spotify with all your favorites, if you would like to hear my top five Christmas songs and even maybe add some of the songs to your own playlist, Click Here.

3. Light some Candles

If Playing Christmas music is a little too much for you, lighting some candles really works as you can recreate what Christmas smells like to you ( that sounded really weird but when you grew up you might of had a candle that was always burned in your house or if you had a real Christmas tree it might be a pine tree type of scent. Christmas as a scent for me is probably apple cinnamon.

4. decorate for Christmas

if you haven't put your tree up yet then you are really missing out as having the lights twinkling is really cute as well as calming. If you do have your main tree in your living room etc you could even buy a mini tree for your bedroom!

5. Wrap Christmas presents

this only works if you actually like wrapping presents but for me it really hypes up Christmas and gets me even more excited

6. Bake

baking is really fun and of course you get to eat what you make. If you don't want to bake from scratch you can buy ready made packs where you only need to add water, milk etc
