Top 5 Lipstcks for Christmas // Blogmas Day 2

Top 5 Lipsticks For Christmas 2017 //
Blogmas Day 2

Sunday, December 03, 2017

So its Blogmas day 2, which if everything has worked out means it is December 3rd (because im posting every other day, more info in the Blogmas Day 1 post) and today's Christmas themed post (obliviously, because its Blogmas!) is going to be my top 5 lipsticks for the winter time/Christmas. (NOTE:  All lipsticks shown in this post  are by the brands MAC & Kylie Cosmetics, unfortunately these are the only brands i have that are the right colours that i wanted for this but it shows that the products are very good themselves)The list is not in order of my favorite to least favourite, instead number one is the least expensive going down to number 5 being the most expensive. Just so you know, most of the shades are red/purple berry shades but just in case those type of colours are not your cup of tea i also included two of my favourite everyday more nude/brown shades.

PS. Most photos in this post are NOT mine, everything on ALL my social medias and blog are mine unless said otherwise like today. I couldn't use all of my own as i am trying my best to pre-write as many Blogmas posts as possible so in the end i have the best quality of posts so they are not all rushed and short and it just doesn't seem possible for me.

1. Kylie Cosmetics Velvet 'Sprinkle'

Swatches of the velvet set
(Kylie Jenner's Snapchat)

So this colour is apart of the Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Collection and is in the mini velvet set which contains 6 different shades. The set can still be bought on the Kylie Cosmetics website for $36 but the reason it is first on the list is because it would be the cheapest on its own as it has the least amount of product in it (0.70g) as it is a mini.

2. Kylie Cosmetics Velvet 'Commando'

The shade Commando is also apart of the mini velvet set from Kylie Cosmetics so i wont talk too much about that. The colour of the product is in the picture above as there was no point putting the exact same picture in twice, its the second one down from the top.
The difference with this shade is that you can actually buy this product in the full size version and not just in the set. On the website it is $16 for the individual velvet liquid lipstick.

3. MAC Satin Lipstick 'Captive'

(My own Photo)

This lipstick was actually my first ever MAC purchase. I bought it for the Fall/Autumn time but it works perfectly for the Winter time too. It can be bought in various places but is sold at MAC itself for £16.50 but i got mine for £15 as i bought it at the airport on the way back from a holiday. As you can see its a pretty pink/red berry colour that i think would look stunning with a classic smokey eye.

4. MAC Matte Lipstick 'Velvet Teddy'
(MAC Cosmetics)

This MAC shade is a classic lipstick that a lot of makeup lovers have in their collection. me included. This is an every day brown nude shade great for school or natural makeup looks. If you aren't big into bright or dark lip colours, this lipstick would still look good with a festive eye look, the price is the same as the other mac lipstick, £16.50

5. Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip-Kit 'Kristen'
(Kylie Cosmetics)
Last but not least is the Kristen Lip-Kit by Kylie Cosmetics. I love this colour and got it last year for Christmas. It is quite a bold colour for me as a nude lipstick lover but the colour is so nice with the right eye look. Since it is a lip kit it also comes with a creamy lip liner which makes applying tricky dark colours so much easier, you can buy this for $29 on the Kylie Cosmetics website.

So that was all the lipsticks i had to share with you, the next Blogmas post will be up on December 5th so get excited for that.

Also if you haven't already seen my Blogmas Day 1 post, you should definitely go check that out (there's an announcement in it too)
